A Winner and a Wedding!

Well, we didn't go to Nashville as planned. :( I have been looking forward to this for a few months, but it seemed like we all had reasons that we couldn't go (work, finances, sick children) so we decided that maybe it was best if we stayed home. I think mom called to cancel our hotel reservations with 2 minutes to spare! It was not an easy decision! Sorry girls in Nashville, I love you and hopefully we'll see you soon! :) I really wanted to go, but Maddie Kate got up Thursday morning with her eyes matted shut, and a horrible cough. We went to the Dr., and she has sinusitis and infected eyes. So we have antibiotics and eyedrops! I think her eyes got messed up either at the pumpkin patch-very dusty- or when I put mascara on her for Trick or Treating. Maybe it was both! Mom, me, Kimmy & Ava went shopping Saturday at St. Claire, and I bought some Christmas stuff and found some winter maternity mostly, so at least we got to do that!

It's time to announce the winner of the blog contest for the month of October! I drew a name from all the comments that I had gotten on the blog this past month and the winner is....
I am pleased to tell you that you have won a free session from me, to be taken in the month of November! So give me a call and let's set up a time for that shoot! Congratulations!

I think I will just do the same thing for November. So here's the new/same blog contest for this month! I like comments! :)
Now for some wedding pictures! I did this couple's engagement shoot back in July, and got to know them a little then. They are cute, so obviously fun-loving, and fun to be around! Their wedding was so much fun to photograph, and they were both so happy on their wedding day, even before the wedding when they hadn't seen each other yet, they were pretty giddy, and it was so cute! Here are some images from Jake & Andrea's day:
The reception was at the Rend Lake Resort, and the sun was setting at just the right time, so we were able to get some beautiful sunset shots by the lake! I really like these!

This last picture was the flowergirl with her family, and I just thought it was absolutely adorable, I had to include it! And here are a few images taken by my assistant, Alisa, and edited by me. She always takes photos of the girls getting ready, lots of detail shots and angles that I can't get to, so her work is lots of fun!

Well, now I guess I have to send a proof book to Ecuador! That's definitely a first for me! After the honeymoon they were moving to Ecuador for a year, so I will be shipping the photos there...pretty interesting, I think! Hope you guys are enjoying your time out of the country!:) Thanks for a fun day and a great wedding experience!

Jessica
