A few days ago I thought she was watching tv and I went to peek at her, and she was playing with the kiddy kitchen in the corner, which I thought was cute because she hasn't played with it much lately. Then I realize she has the hand soap pump from the bathroom and a washcloth. Upon further inspection, I see that she has pumped most of the bottle of soap out into the tiny plastic kitchen sink, where it is about 1/2 an inch deep all around. ( I don't have a picture of this because the soap was clear and I didn't know if it would really show up in the pic...) Fun times...
Then last night I sent the girls to brush their teeth right before bed, and Maddie Kate did hers real quick and was out long before Ava. I went to check on Ava and she had squished a LOT of toothpaste onto her toothbrush, plus a lot all over the toothpaste tube cap (it was the kind that is attached). I tried to explain that she needed to move the cap out of the way before squeezing the tube, and I helped her clean up and brush. Right as I'm helping her down (she stands on the potty so she can reach the sink) I see this:
Apparently she had had a toothpaste party, it wasn't just a freak squishing accident! So she got in big trouble and I had a mess to clean up. The story of my life. Sigh.
