Jessica & Jessica's Double Senior Session

Here are a few of my senior reps who wanted to do their session together this time! (you might remember their earlier rep sessions from back in May) Keeping in the theme of "firsts" there were several firsts that came along with this session. It was the first senior girl double shoot I have ever done, it was the first time I ever had my wedding-second shooter help shoot a session, there were several locations I had never been to before, my first tennis player, and the first time a train ever came rolling down the tracks while we were using them! This did make for a few very fun pictures! Here are Jessica & Jessica:

Here's the scary train coming right towards us, and the girls trying to be brave!
And them running away! Too close, too scary! :)
And then they added a buddy, Natasha, for a few at the end.

Thanks for a great session girls!

Brennan's 3 months old already!

I am really enjoying the continuation of getting to help document Brennan's growth! I did his mommy's maternity pictures back in May, and his newborn pics in June, and now he's 3 months old, and has the greatest cheeks I've ever seen on such a little guy! Here's Brennan:
Oh, it is so hard to pick up these cheeks! :)
I love this face!
We took some sweet baby pictures...then his mommy busted out the rockstar gear and we had some fun! This one above is the cover of his new CD! :) ha ha
Thanks so much for letting me continue to take Brennan's photos! I love getting to watch him grow!

A quick Ava story ( I know for some of you, that is one of the main reasons you read my blog.. :)
Ava got a Dora Memory game for her birthday, and it became her instant favorite. We play Memory every day around here! A few days ago Johnny and I were playing with her, and of course, Ava always wins. We were congratulating her and telling her how great she was at it, and she laughed and said, " You guys are dumb!" Knowing this needed to be corrected before the word "dumb" became a constant word in her vocabulary, we said, "Ava, do you know what that word means?" and she smiled with her big dimples and said, "It means that I get a spankin'."

I guess you could say I'm keeping busy... ; )

Here are a few sneak peeks from the past week of recent sessions and a wedding! In random order, here are Carter, Makennly, Hannah, Emma, and Jessica & Patrick:
More to come later on all of these!

Also, here are some of Cohen's 6 month pictures....as usual, we took these a few weeks ago, he's almost 7 months old now, and I finally edited a few...
He never wants to look at me when I have the big black camera in my hand!

Here he spied the puppies coming around the side of the house...they jumped all over him and he hated it!

Mean old puppies! So vicious! :)
Nothing but SERIOUS and wary after the puppy attack....
So I moved him up onto the porch to keep him safe...
and he got a LOT happier!

Michelle's Mini-Senior Session

This is the first round of Michelle's Senior portraits, and I think they are beautiful! She is waiting on her new cheerleading uniform to do the rest of them, so you'll get to see more of her later....but for now, here are a few of my favorites from her mini-session:
Thanks for a great session Michelle, I'm looking forward to doing the rest of your pictures in a few weeks! Bubbles anyone? ;)

Loryn's Senior Photos

Here I have another beautiful senior! She and her mom had chosen to take pictures at two of her grandparents homes, which were both so pretty, they had flowers, ponds, fences...all kinds of great spots for pictures! I had fun finding good spots all over both of these locations, and Loryn did just wonderfully. So wonderfully that I had a hard time just narrowing down my favorites to put on the blog! :)I LOVE this barefoot cheerleading picture! Loryn seems to not be too much of a shoe girl, and that was fine by me! :)And a fun jumping picture! I used to only do jumping for wedding parties, but I've started having seniors and engagement couples do it too, and it's so cute!
Thanks Loryn for a fabulous session! I hope you like your photos!

Sweet little Mylie

I have had the opportunity to photograph little miss Mylie several times, and it seems like after every session her mom and I are just not sure how well the shoot went! Then when I do the editing, I find a pile of beautiful, sweet photos, that I have a terribly hard time narrowing down for proofing! Mylie is about 19 months old now, and just such a little cutie with a BIG personality!
Here she is with her mom and sisters:She's so expressive!

I love this last one! Look at that silly face!
Thanks for letting me do Mylie's pictures again!
