Today is my daughter Maddie Kate's 7th birthday! I cannot believe that I have a child that old. It seems like she should be my tiny new baby instead of Cohen! Here are a few of her 7 year pictures:
We decided to go do some "urban" pictures like the big girls. She saw these and the photo birthday invitation I made for her, threw her arms around me and said, "I'm so glad I have a photographer mom!"

A sneak peek of my first guy Senior Rep!

A 2nd Benton Senior Rep..also named Jessica...believe it or not!

When Jessica, my first Benton Rep called me to say she had found me another rep and her name was Jessica too, I couldn't hardly believe it! I know my name is pretty common, but wow! This is crazy! Anyway, we had a fun little session trekking through the weeds and driving around to some different locations. Once again, here's Jessica:

I do have a boy senior rep lined up, but we couldn't get his session in until next week. I'm excited though, to have a guy doing the Senior Rep thing for me.
Well, Cohen has already been asleep for over an hour, so I have to get to sleep before he decides it's time to get up again! :)

Senior Rep for DuQuoin....Alexis!

Looks like the Senior Reps are coming out of the woodwork right now! I spontaneously decided to try this program out at the last minute, and I'm liking the response it so far! :) If I do this again next year, you better believe I'm starting a LOT earlier though, like maybe March!
Anyway, this is Alexis! She is my husband's cousin, and she was just a little girl when I started dating Johnny (oh my, that was almost 11 years ago!) , so I have known her a long time, and it doesn't seem like she should be a senior this fall! She had her own location ideas, so of course that was fun! We went to several spots I had never photographed at.Thanks so much, Alexis, for being a Senior Rep for me! :) (By the way, remind me to give you your sunglasses...you left them in my Yukon!)

A Million Sneak Peeks!...just kidding, it's just five...

I have a ton of sessions I'm working on (not to mention a wedding), but I thought I would get little peeks up for everyone who is currently waiting to get proofs back. Website Update

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know (especially prospective Seniors) that I just updated the senior section on my flash website. It's called "Independence" and it now has fresh images for you to enjoy! I haven't updated my dial-up site in a REALLY long time, so I really prefer that you look to the flash site if possible. And for the newest pictures, the blog right here is the best place to see images from current sessions.
I actually have an upgraded version of the flash site I currently use that I need to work on, it's just hard to find time! The new version has 10 galleries instead of the 8 I currently have, unlimited gallery photos (that's the best part!), and I think a slideshow at the beginning of each gallery. I know, I really need to get it set up...I will make an announcement if I ever manage to get it done. Maybe it's time to call in my computer/web guru (aka my brother Troy) to do the website update for me!
Also, I want to encourage those who read my blog to leave me a comment! I LOVE to hear who is reading and what you think about stuff, so leave a comment, leave your name, or even leave your email address...let's get to know one another! Leaving a comment is easy! At the bottom of each post, see where it says "# Comments"? Click on it, and it will take you to the comment box. Senior Rep Pics & Cohen's 3 months old today!

I have another gorgeous Senior rep to show off! After rescheduling her session about 3 times, we finally had a beautiful day for her pictures, and a new location that I had never used before! Which always makes me happy, of course! Here's Paige:




She's so cute, and has the prettiest eyes ever! I have so much fun photographing Seniors! Thanks Paige for doing the Senior Rep thing! I'll have your stuff to you soon!

Today Cohen is 3 months old! I can't believe how fast it's going. He can already push himself backwards with his legs if you lay him on the floor, and he will push until his head runs into something and he has to stop. Then he usually cries about bumping his head! When I was taking some pictures of him last night, I was propping him up on his elbows, and he rolled from his tummy to his back twice. And he has been drooling a lot the past few days, which is making me wonder if he's getting ready to cut some teeth! I didn't think he was old enough for any of that yet! Here are a few of Cohen's 3 month pictures (amazingly early instead of late for once!)

I'm going to make a him a storyboard, but I haven't had time yet. I'll post it when I do.
