Ava's 1 year old session

This little girl was fun to photograph! She was full of life and so busy! The other fun part is that her name is Ava, and she has the same birthday as my Ava, and they were delivered by the same Doctor! She is two years younger than my Ava, and these are her one year birthday pictures. I think they turned out so sweet, little Ava is the queen of funny faces! Plus anytime you shoot a baby attacking a birthday cake you know it's going to be fun! :) Here's Ava:
I love closeups! Her baby eyes are so beautiful!
The perfect baby toes photo!
She had a ton of fun with the cake for awhile...
until she slipped and fell down in it and cried! She had to have a bath before her mom could put her in the car! But she was so sweet and so cute, and I just love those little teeth! :) Thanks for letting me take her pictures!

The Kirkpatrick Kids

It was so much fun to get to take pictures of my old friend Wendy's kids! They live in Alabama now (wow, I have been doing a lot of long-distance shoots lately...Missouri, Georgia, Alabama...) but when they were home for a visit, we did this little session. The baby, Kylie, was about 6 weeks old, so most of the session was centered around her, but we got some cute ones of all the kids! Here are Kensi, Kade, and Kylie:
Sweet Sisters!
I love this of the baby in the chair! I wish I had one like this of my girls when they were babies!
My sister, Kimberly, crocheted this baby cocoon, and this was my first opportunity to use it! I think it turned out SO cute, and I love how Kylie looks all tucked into it! I wish I would have had one when Cohen was a baby! I would have used it for photos and I would have carried him around in it instead of a blanket. I think I may have her make me a few more in different colors...Princess Kylie with her pacifier! This was near the end and she was getting tired, but I still think it's cute! Thanks Wendy for letting me do some pictures for you! It was great to see you and meet Kylie!

Oh, and by the way, Wendy has a blog that I have linked over to the side on mine for anyone who is interested! :) The Kirkpatrick Five (not to be confused with the Jackson Five)

The McBride/Vanwey Family

I first met part of this family a few years ago when I did a PTO fundraiser, and I remember thinking that these blond kids were so cute. This time I got to photograph the whole family, parents, Grandma & Grandpa, uncle, aunt, cousins (some of them live in Georgia!) and I met several more cute blondies! Thanks for the opportunity to take your photos! Here are some of my favorites:
This one I told everyone to look at Grandma & Grandpa, and it just made them laugh! I thought it was sweet. Thanks so much!

And for those of you who wanna see a pic of my fat smiley baby...here he is!
The other night we were putting the girls to bed, and Ava came to hug Cohen goodnight. She said, "Come here Cohen, give me some love!" Where does she get this stuff? We laugh all the time!

One for Brianna

Football boys

I had the idea to do this photo shoot for an ad to put in the school's football program, and these guys were very cool to participate. I asked the boys in our youth group (for those of you who don't know, my husband is a youth pastor) who are on the football team at school. My husband is one of the assistant coaches for the team, and he used to play in high school, and he says that he wishes he had pictures like this of himself from when he was playing! :) I think the pics turned out really awesome! The first photo above is the ad for the program.
These below are just fun ones we did for the heck of it! Here are Kendall, Tyler & Kyle:
I think they look like gladiators or something! :) I think they are actually a lineman, quarterback, and a runningback, but just being married to a coach does NOT mean I speak the language! lol Everything they were talking about with Johnny during the shoot was seriously going over my head. I know, I'm not cool! ha ha
This one (above) is one of my favorites, I put it on the front of my website!
I love this last one too, it was hard choosing between it and the one I'm using for the program. But the boys voted for the other one since it was shot through the mask. Anyway, I'm excited to have a cool ad in the program this year! Thanks boys!
