Sesser Homecoming Candidates
This is the 3rd year in a row that I have taken the photos of the candidates for the Sesser Homecoming (that's the name of our town's festival, it's not the school dance or anything). These kids sell raffle tickets for a trip to Hawaii, and the sales help to pay for the carnival. Then the candidate who sells the most tickets in each age category wins prizes and a scholarship. (I think this is how it all works! :)
Anyway, this year there are 11 candidates and I got to take pictures of each of them at Sesser Park, which is where the Homecoming is held. It actually starts tomorrow and goes through Saturday.
Here are the candidates!

You all did so good! There wasn't even one of you that I struggled to get a good shot of, you were all so cooperative! Thanks, kids! Good luck! :)

Cohen is working hard on being the new Ava

He is standing in the sink with half the contents of the medicine cabinet at his feet and all over the floor. He can climb anything these days and his favorite is to climb up onto the dining room table and do a dance. The worst part of that is that I usually have my laptop sitting there. The other day I was out of the room and had left a Dr. Pepper there next to my computer. Stupid mistake! I came back to find the laptop flattened, soda all over it and the table, and the floor, and footprints in the soda on the table. The laptop survived, but I have been monitoring drinks and Cohen's whereabouts much more closely... I don't have a picture of that because I was pretty panicked.... :)

Our 10th Anniversary...wow!

Today is Johnny and I's (is that correct grammar because it sounds weird) 10th anniversary. I can't believe we have already been married that long! The picture above is the very first picture we ever had taken together when we were 16 years old...at Camp Hope of course!
This one is one of my favorites from our wedding day:

The past 10 years have been wonderful! We got married very young, we were both only 20. There have been some hard times, and I can't say it has been perfect, no marriage is. But the great times far outweigh the bad, and as we have learned one another better and better, I'd say things are going just beautifully! We have 3 gorgeous children that are living proof of our love together, and I couldn't ask for a better life. I love you honey! I'm looking forward to the rest of forever with you!
(I'll add a picture of us today later after I get ready! :)
EDIT: Here's us right before we went on our date:

Tony is 1 year old!
This was the first time I had met Tony, but he was in a great mood! His mommy, grandma, and sister all came to help him smile, and smile he did!

(I also thought it was interesting that I had two sessions in one day who had the same little John Deere onesie on and some of the same John Deere tractors!)
Love this one where he's using the tractor as a phone...

Cake smash! Woohoo!

Thanks for allowing me to take Tony's one year pictures! It was great to meet you all!

Jacksen is 6 months old!
Jacksen is another baby plan member, so far I have had him for his 3 month pictures and now his 6 month. All I can say is, his eyes are absolutely beautiful!! It doesn't matter if he smiles or not, his eyes take over the photo.
He had several different looks for his session, he is quite the versatile baby! :)

Thanks for coming all the way to see me again! Looking forward to the next session with Jacksen! :)

Brennan is one year old!
Brennan was my first ever baby plan client, and here he is, a big one year old! I took his Mommy's maternity pictures, and then 4 more sessions of Brennan over the past year, including this one.
This is his Mommy and Daddy, anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child:

Here he is a tiny newborn, well, a tiny newborn with HUGE cheeks! :)

Then 3 months old:

6 months old:

And now here's Brennan at age 1!
With Mommy & Daddy:

And here's his cake smash...I think he was the happiest cake smasher I have ever had!

He apparently knows karate, or kung fu... :)

Thank you for allowing me to photograph Brennan's first year! Babies grow up too fast, and we've got to remember the way they were when they were tiny!!
This is what it's all about for me, capturing the moments to help you remember the details of life.
I hope to see your family and Brennan more as he grows! :)
