Jessa's Senior Pictures

I remember Jessa when she was a little girl, but she doesn't remember me. Does that mean I'm getting old?! Anyway, she's like, my friend's cousin, and when she called, it was little 5 year old Jessa that I thought of, because I hadn't seen her in a long time! But here she is now, all grown up, a beautiful senior!
Thanks Jessa for choosing me for your senior pictures! :)

The Roberts kids

This session was for some kids who live out of state, but they have family in the area that I have done photos for, so their mom wanted me to do some pictures for them. These kids are cuties, especially the littlest one, but after about 5 minutes, she wasn't into having her picture taken anymore! But we tricked her (her aunt Jamie did anyway! :) into some pleasant pictures.
Here are Alli, Landon, and Maddi Kate:

Above: I saw a lot of this face! :)

Thanks for a funny & fun session!

Cohen has been getting ornery lately! Here he is doing one of his new favorite things:
He loves to pull the kitchen chairs over real slowly, then run his walker out from under it and let it fall on the floor!I love this kid!
Then here we have Ava:She found some of her sister's little stamp pads and apparently mistook it for eyeshadow!
She didn't want me to take a picture, but I made her let me, it was too funny!

In JHP news, I AM BOOKED SOLID for November! And as I said in an earlier post, I will be taking December off for catching up, and spending time with my family. If you are interested in having photos done, we will have to look at January! Or you might want to think about buying a ticket to have photos done to support the S-V PTO! **See earlier post on October 5th to see details about the PTO fundraiser**

I have a wedding tomorrow, and a bridal show on Sunday at Rend Lake, so I have a busy weekend ahead of me! If you are a bride and interested in seeing some of my work and talk with me, come visit my booth at "Once Upon A Dream" Bridal show at Rend Lake Conference Center.
Thanks!

The Minor Family

I met up with the Minor family at their home in the country, and it was just a beautiful place to live and take photos! They had a beautiful yard, pond, and cute porch for pictures. Not to mention a couple of adorable kids with great smiles! Here are the Minor family:

Thanks for a great session! Good job Brendan & Bryli!! :)

One for Andrea!

Andrea, I am so sorry I forgot to post you a sneak peek! We went to Johnny's parents for the weekend right after I did your session, and it slipped my mind! I apologize! :)

Abby & Shane's wedding

I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding (which I haven't done in years) with my friend Kellie this past Saturday in Taylorville. It was fun getting to do the different angles and detail shots that my second shooter, Alisa, is always getting to do! I used to second shoot at friends/family weddings all the time when I was still shooting as a hobby, but since I started my business I haven't had the opportunity. I wanted to give it a try again, and it was great! No pressure, just fun shots! So here are a few I chose to edit just to show what happens when I'm the backup! :)Above: I have never caught someone else's flash in my photo! Isn't it cool looking?
Thanks Kellie for the opportunity! It was fun getting to hang out with you for the day! Especially getting to drive the golf cart! ha ha
