Tyler's Senior Pictures

Yay! I'm so happy to be getting outside again for pictures! The day of Tyler's session his mom and I kept thinking we were going to get rained out, but thankfully, we didn't!

Thanks to Tyler and his mom for choosing me for your senior photos! It was fun, thanks for driving all that way to see me and for letting me drag you around town!

The Portell family...minus dad...

It was so great to get to photograph the Portells while they were home in the states. They are missionaries to France and were home for a month or so (I think), but they left Dad at home in France! So the photos are kind of like a Mom & Me session!
A lot of my sessions have had rain issues lately, and this one was no exception. We had to reschedule due to rain and then shoot most of the session inside because of rain. We got outside for a few at the end though, and it was sprinkling on us!

This one is a compilation of all the crazy faces McGwire was making during the session:

Thanks for letting me photograph your family while you all were here! I'm sure Dad will be very happy to see you when you get home! :)

Holly & Josh are Married! Picture overload!

I had the honor of photographing Holly & Josh's wedding two weeks ago. (Yes, I know, I have never finished a wedding that fast before...I'm hoping to start a new trend.. we shall see! :) As you can see from the photo above, it was one of those gray drizzly days that we were not sure if we were going to get to do photos outside at all!

It was a very special day, and the love that the bride and groom had for one another really showed! Holly could not stop smiling, and Josh cried when the bride came down the aisle...so sweet!

The bride had a cute defense against the rain!

This one is a "Where's Jessica?" Can you find me in this shot by my assistant?

I love this; it's a circle of prayer with the bride and groom along with their parents and grandparents. (Johnny and I did this at our wedding, I think it's very special)

This might be the biggest group shot I have ever taken:

This wedding party was up for anything! (By the way, here we are at the groom's house which was next door to the church!)

The groom's cake was pretty cool:

The wedding took place while the groom was on leave from the Air Force, and Holly moved to Italy with him 4 days after they were married!

I know this one below is not focused and it's so grainy it's not even funny, but it is so sweet! Right at the end of the first dance, he picked her up and spun her, and I wasn't ready for it, but I love this photo! :) It's "emotionally in focus"!

Thanks for choosing me to be a part of your special day. You two are so sweet, and I hope you are having a blast in Italy! :)

MUD

This is what Johnny looked like when I came home from running errands the other day!

It has been raining A LOT around here the past few weeks, but my husband and the neighbor kids have been making the best of it, and have made a huge mud track in the neighbor's yard!

Johnny was leaving to take Maddie Kate to school the other day, and Maddie was telling Ava bye. He went to give Cohen and Ava kisses, and Ava puckered up her lips and said, "Am I gonna get one from the big man?"
She's just a little bit goofy!

Check back, I will be posting a wedding tonight or tomorrow!
