I had the opportunity to photograph the candidates for Sesser Homecoming Queen, Prince, and Princess. (for those of you who don't know, it's not a dance, "Homecoming" is what they call the carnival at the park in June) We met up at the park, and two candidates didn't make it for their pictures, so we had only 8 instead of 10. I did 8 mini-sessions in about an hour and 45 minutes! They turned out well I think! I went though my edits and tried to chose my favorite from each session. So here they are, most of the candidates...! (this last little guy had not been feeling well, had just woken up from a nap, and a kid had punched him at daycare that day...so he had had a rough day before we were trying to take his picture! He's so cute! Poor guy!!)
Good luck to all of you kids! Everyone else: go buy a ticket from one of these kids and support Sesser Homecoming and try to win that trip to Hawaii! :)
Photography has always been a love of mine, I have oodles of photo albums from my high school days to prove it! When I had my Senior Portraits taken, I had so much fun, and really thought it was the kind of job I would like to do someday! Someday is here! I officially started my photography business in Dec 06, and things have been rolling along ever since! I love photos of people, really enjoy meeting new people and doing digital work, so this job is perfect for me. It also allows me to set my own hours and stay at home with my children, and for that I am so thankful.
My husband Johnny and I live in an itty bitty town in So. IL where he is a youth pastor. He coaches football and is teaching 3rd grade. We have 2 daughters, Maddie Kate, 9, and Ava, 5, and a son, Cohen, 2.5.
