Josie - 13 days old! {Mt. Vernon, IL Newborn Photographer}

Love. This sums up how I feel about little Josie's Newborn session. She did so so so good! I started off the day a bit rough, I showed up at the studio for her session without my camera! I had to run home to retrieve it, and felt like a goofball! But Miss Josie turned my day into gold with her perfect session. I adore these pictures. I keep debating turning some of them into canvases for the studio, but I can't make up my mind which I love most! I adore the one above, with the love letters, but I also adore the apples bucket ones!



I posted this one as her sneak peek, but I adore it so I'm showing it again!

The Roberts family {Smyrna, TN Family Photographer}

I went to Nashville to visit my good friend Jamie for the weekend, and I ended up taking her sister's family pictures while I was there! I have taken pictures of the kids before, and photographed the littlest daughter, Maddi Kate (yes, there is another Maddie Kate in the world!) several times, but this is the first time I have ever taken the photos of the whole family!



We took these photos at a historical park, called Cannonsburgh Village. It was a pretty nifty place for pictures!





Matching kids! I am always amazed by siblings that have the same skin tones and hair color! My siblings and I are different and my kids are different, so it's amazing to me!


Obviously, they are Titans fans, being from the Nashville area! My husband, Johnny, is still a huge Titans fan because of the time we lived there.

Brooke & Mike's wedding {Evansville, IN Wedding Photographer}

Brooke & Mike were married on a very hot, but very gorgeous day in August! We started off with getting ready pictures at the bride's parents home, which was beautiful, and such a great place to start off the big day!
Then we went to the church, which was very pretty too!



We went outside into a little prayer garden for some shots before the ceremony, but it was soooo hot, no one wanted to stay outdoors for long! But we got some cute images before we returned to the wonderful air conditioning inside!

This is one of my very favorites from the whole day! I love the light!


We headed out for some quick shots at a park area, it was super hot, so we shot quickly and got out of there! Don't they make a beautiful couple?
