Anybody want a puppy?

This is a blatant plea to anyone who is at all interested in a FREE PUPPY! These little guys are SO cute and sweet! Their mom is our little Jack Russell terrier, and we aren't sure who the daddy is! They were born on 4th of July weekend, so they are about ready to find new homes in the next few weeks! Today Ava, Alisa, and I gave them bath and then they had a little photoshoot so I could show them off here and see if anyone wants one!
The three brown ones are very similar looking, and they are all girls. The two white with spots and the black with brown paws are boys!Let me know if you are interested! You can come right over and pick one out yourself! First come first served! :)
I'm going to post a big sneak peek for the wedding and all the sessions that are waiting for proofs tonight or tomorrow, so look back soon, it'll be fun!

Farm family & Ava's THREE!

For this session we met up at the Grandparents home, and took photos around their farm. Their 50th wedding anniversary is coming up in September, and they wanted these photos to use at the party. I love it that we used the cornfield and wagons for pictures! I'm a farmer's daughter after all, and this is So. IL! :) Here are the Payne family:

Today is Ava's 3rd birthday! This is me pregnant with her, a few days before she was born (we are out at Camp Hope, because she was born on the last night of Jr/Sr Week, and Johnny was a counselor that week) I know it's not a good pic, I was still shooting film then, believe it or not! So I had to take a picture of the picture, and that never goes well for me! But I have always loved this photo.
When Ava got up this morning, we sat down to look at the album of when she was born, and when we saw this one, I pointed at me and said, "See, there I am with Ava in my tummy." and she said, "Yeah, and Daddy has Cohen." ha ha! And here we all are when we became a family of four.
Here's my little goofball now that she's 3! I used this collage on her birthday party invitation. She loves it and has been carrying one around with her and talking about all the "Avie's".
Ironically, Johnny is working out at Camp Hope with the Jr/Sr kids this week, so we are headed out there today to have cake and presents with him! Ava is so excited to get to go to camp for her "party" and I'm going to take them swimming too, so she's happy about her day. Her real party will be Saturday since Johnny's not here! Happy Birthday Ava! I love you!

Well, the girls have already asked a million times "when are we going to camp?" so I gotta get going! Have a great day!

So by now you probably know...

...that when I have a blogging lull a week or longer that I am either out of town or editing a wedding...this time it has been BOTH! It feels like we have been out of town for all of July...it's funny how I look forward to the vacation times, but then am thankful to be home when it's all over with! :) Last week we were gone with our youth group on a trip to our denomination's National Convention in Charleston, WV. We had a good time, I left the girls with my parents and took Cohen with us. We sure missed the girls though! This week I have been getting back to doing sessions and working on this wedding.
Jared & Erin's wedding was a lot of fun to photograph. They had chosen a great location for photos (on the college campus where they met) before the ceremony, and we got a load of great pictures! The wedding party were troopers, everyone was boiling, but still very willing to do the photos that the Bride & Groom ( and I) wanted to do.

Check out the butterfly! My assistant shot this, I just love it!We had to walk partway across the campus to get to a fountain....I love this one of them on the road!This fountain was so pretty! We kept having to wait on the jets to go up!

I know I just posted Cohen's 4 month pictures, but we did his 5 month ones (I keep taking them about 2 weeks late, so technically they are 5 1/2 mo pics!) and I wanted to show him off a bit. These were his daddy's ideas, and I think they turned out super cute! Plus we did these on Johnny's 30th birthday, so that makes them a little more special!
